While it is true that I only make my wine for
my tastes and not the scores they might get, I must
admit that it feels good when a wine magazine or
journalist likes my wines and gives them
a
good score.
I am honored that
Antonio Galloni
from the
Wine Advocate
was able to take the time to visit my winery,
you can see his notes
here.
Also here in Italy the Association of Italian Sommelier gave their highest award called the '5 Grappoli' to my 2005 Ovello cru while Gambero Rosso gave the 2005 Albesani the coveted 'tre bicchieri' for it's first release on the market.
In the wine business reviews and scores are important, but what is most important to me is when people enjoy a glass of my wine.
